Why USB parktronic, what is it all about? It allows unified parking assistance access trough the CarPC screen Most folks do not want to over-complicate their car dashboard with various gadget interfaces. The GUI design was initially inspired by Lexus optional parking assistance system. Ask you Lexus or BMW deaer for cost of integrated parking assistant option. Each transponder position can be configured independently So user can choose order in which parking radar transponders (aka heads) are installed. It can always be adjusted trough the configuration menu. If some transponder head is broken, it can be switched off from your interface. For original parktronic, it has to be electrically disconnected OR device can malfunction. Seeing your car live parking situation on a computer screen is much more informative Parking radar beeps do not always provide precise idea of the obstacle that is blocking your way. In Moscow city, you often park with 2 centemeters free on the right and front bumper. It is possible to connect more than one parking radar, so 8-heads parking radar functionality can be achieved for fraction of the cost It is much better to connect two inexpensive parking radars (for example, 2F + 4R) to save costs. It also make system easiy upgradable.
